Last updated: July 6, 2026

Zonecheck is a Chrome extension that helps users detect scheduling information, compare time zones, and generate AI-assisted scheduling replies directly within Gmail.

Information We Process

Zonecheck may process:

  • Email scheduling-related text selected or detected within Gmail

  • Timezone and scheduling information

  • User preferences (such as timezone and business hours)

Zonecheck does not collect or store:

  • Passwords

  • Payment information

  • Health information

  • Personal identification numbers

How We Use Information

The processed information is used solely to:

  • Detect scheduling language in emails

  • Compare time zones

  • Generate suggested scheduling replies

  • Improve scheduling assistance functionality

Third-Party Services

Zonecheck securely sends scheduling-related text to the Zonecheck backend for AI processing. The backend uses Anthropic's API to analyze scheduling information and generate suggested replies. Only the minimum amount of scheduling-related text required to fulfill the user's request is transmitted. No user data is sold or shared with third parties except as necessary to provide the AI processing service.

Data Storage

Zonecheck stores user preferences (such as timezone and business hours) locally in the browser.

Scheduling-related text is transmitted to the Zonecheck backend only when the user requests AI assistance. The data is processed solely to generate a response, is not logged or retained after processing, and is not logged or retained by Zonecheck after processing.

Security

All communication between the extension, the Zonecheck backend, and third-party AI services is encrypted using HTTPS.

User Control

Users may disable or uninstall Zonecheck at any time through Chrome Extensions settings.
